Earlier this week, UDD vocalist Armi Millare played her “quickest and first mini-show in Europe,” specifically in Octo Berlin, a café in Germany.

“This was all done by accident as I really came here to go on a break,” Millare posted on Instagram, thanking the Philippine Embassy in Germany for opening its doors to her. “But things totally shifted into something I was not expecting–in a good way.”

One of my most memorable trips to date. I would like to extend my thanks to the @philippineembassygermany for opening its doors to me, being the first to help put together my quickest and first mini-show in Europe. This was all done by accident as I really came here to go on a break, but things totally shifted into something I was not expecting- in a good way. . Thank you Ambassador Thomaczek, for being supportive of Filipino talent, and most especially Consul Alvin Malasig for making things possible for me and other Filipinos willing to share our culture to the world. I somehow believe it's my civic duty to write songs for the Filipinos to consume, but for the world to also discover and update their ideas about us Filipinos and our culture. Because yes, you get to know a country through their music and art too, among other things. 🙂#yesimabitofapatriot
