November 10 is International Science Center and Science Museum Day and what’s a better way to celebrate it than to witness the wonders of Science while enjoying live music from some of the country’s best performers? The Mind Museum‘s got you covered.
On the said date, the museum will be extending their operation hours to 9PM and will be holding the first ever local gig in a museum. The lineup includes Ben&Ben, Coeli, Munimuni, Keiko Necesario, Over October, The Ridleys, and spoken word poets Sofia Paderes and Jedidiah Maigue.
The special event ticket (PHP 375) will give ticket holders an all-access pass to all the galleries of the museum as well as the special exhibitions: Dinosaurs Around The World (International) and Planet Story. In line with the year’s theme, “Science For Peace”, there will also be a “Say Your Peace” Station where guests can write their inspiring messages of peace and make origami art. Other stations include a Donation Station for Marawi which accepts donations of solar lamps, diapers, and cash, and a Makey Makey Game Station where guests can play a piano with fruits as keys and vegetables as a game console to play Tetris/Super Mario.
Get P75 off your event ticket by sharing your own message of peace on Twitter or other social media platforms using the hashtag #scienceforpeace and by tagging The Mind Museum.
