BTS continue their global domination with a Japanese version of “MIC Drop” as part of their Japanese single album MIC Drop / DNA / Crystal Snow, which will be released Wednesday.

The K-pop superstars are getting a lot of mileage out of what was originally a B-side from their latest album, Love Yourself: Her. This latest version of “MIC Drop” is a sign of their international appeal, as they’ve eased into the Korean, English and Japanese lyrics of the three songs.

The remix with Steve Aoki and Desiigner broke their latest record on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, propelling them from the highest-charting K-pop group to the first K-pop group to enter the  chart’s top 40, at No. 28. They previously edged out Wonder Girls as the highest-charting K-pop group on the Hot 100 with “DNA,” which peaked at No. 67.

The music video for the Japanese version of the song melds the remix visuals with the original beat.

The set is almost identical to the remix music video, but subtle differences take shape when Aoki’s looming figure is replaced with a silhouette with glowing red eyes. Adding to the ominous atmosphere is the warped vocal sample for the line that translates to “Careful of your feet/ Careful of what you say” in the Korean version.

BTS has courted the Japanese market since 2014, with the Japanese version of their debut single “No More Dream.” The Korean septet has done well in the world’s second-largest music market. They first charted on Japan’s Oricon chart in 2014 with their EP Skool Luv Affair at No. 92, and Love Yourself: Her peaked at No. 1 on the Oricon Albums Chart earlier this year.
