The Backstreet Boys made a noteworthy return to the Billboard Hot 100 back back in March with their joint release with Florida Georgia Line, “God, Your Mama, and Me” and seem to be in the process of securing some high-profile collaborations for their upcoming album, according to a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean said, “We’re reaching out to people who we were always inspired by or who may have been fans and we didn’t even know. We’ve all made friends with different people.”

He continues, “Nick’s been talking to Steve Aoki, Howie talked to Zedd, who’s been a big, big fan [and] Diplo, we’ve also talked to. We’ve also done stuff with The Chainsmokers, and those guys are amazing and out in Vegas with a residency as well, so who knows.”

Outside of the studio, the group is currently keeping busy with their Las Vegas residency at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood.
