The spirits of the season are back in town with Menken & Ahrenn’s “A Christmas Carol”, presented by Globe LIVE and 9Works Theatricals. Presenting an all-new cast and production set, the show is set to premiere on December 1 at the Globe Iconic Stage, BGC Amphitheater in Taguig City.

The Charles Dickens classic tells the story of a miserly man who finds happiness in sharing the joys of the season after being visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.

“A Christmas Carol’s second run is part of our effort to encourage our customers in creating new traditions with the whole family,” says Joe Caliro, Globe’s Head for Creative Marketing and Multimedia Services. “We chose to stage A Christmas Carol again because it resonates with the colorful holiday celebrations here in the Philippines. It also teaches us the valuable lesson of giving, which is what the season is all about. With the successful it had last year, we wanted to offer it once again to eventually make it a Filipino Christmas tradition that everyone can enjoy.”

In true Christmas spirit, the show will be supporting HERO Foundation through a “Wall of Miracles” which guests can decorate by purchasing ornaments that will be sold at the venue. Proceeds from the sales and an additional donation from Globe LIVE will be used to support the education of military orphans.

“A Christmas Carol” will run from December 7 to 10, December 14 to 17, and Dec 21, 22, 25 to 27. Tickets are available via TicketWorld (891-9999).
