The heart he continues to put into his music is revealed in his songs. A wizard with lyrics, Ebe Dancel takes the simplest of words in the Filipino language, delivers them with his sincere voice, and creates an intimate and heartwarming experience for all his listeners.
The singer-songwriter has come a long way from his days in the industry as the lead vocalist of Pinoy rock band Sugarfree. 2016 was the year that harvested the fruits of his hard work. Multi-awarded artist Ebe Dancel with his carefully crafted lullabies, is already considered timeless by many.
He started 2016 realizing he has more than one place to call home.
He released his newest album Bawat Daan,
Dancel celebrated its official launch of his 12-track album Bawat Daan in Eastwood Central Plaza last January 31.

The singer-songwriter relaunched his album on March 10 and April 2 in his very own beloved cafe Entablado. Ebe openly expresses how the album represents the length of his musical journey. “The album is a collection of memories from my journey so far… I’ve been following roads all my life and they always lead me back to music and God.”
which immediately charted in album sales.

The multi-awarded artist is on a roll, topping nationwide album sales in Odyssey Music and Videos last January with his newly released album under Star Music, Bawat Daan. The album was number one in the spotlight for both OPM and Overall.
He pulled off a successful show as part of singer-songwriter trio 3D
Having built their following by playing in Conspiracy, Route 196, and 70s Bistro, Ebe Dancel, Johnoy Danao, and Bullet Dumas celebrated their first anniversary as a trio during their sold-out DAMA concert in the Music Museum last February 19.

He inspired his fans in the best way possibly could.
Last September, Dancel pulled someone from the audience to join him in a duet. Stunned by her voice, he invited her to sing with him again months later.
He released a video with Regine Velasquez.
He fulfilled his dream of playing a set in in front of the UP Oblation in Diliman

Among the titles he won were: Best Inspirational Recording for “Bawat Daan”, Best Engineered Recording for Bawat Daan (Engineered by Mark Villar of Hit Productions), Best World Music Recording for his song “Kasayaw”, Best Song Written (with Gloc-9) for Movie/TV/Stage Play for “Ang Probinsyano”, and Song of the Year for “Bawat Daan”.
Ebe Dancel’s streak of success does not end in 2016.
With 2017 just approaching, Dancel already has many things in store for his music in the coming year. His songs will be interpreted in the 2017 rerun of the Sugarfree musical “Sa Wakas,” which will be running by February next year.
