UK indie folkster Lucy Rose will play in Manila as part of her Worldwide Cinema Tour 2017 in September to support her new album.
The concert–produced by Bandwagon Asia as the debut of its Bandwagon Live series– will also feature a screening of her short film Something’s Coming which is also the title of the album.
This will be the singer/songwriter’s third Manila visit after playing the 2014 Wanderland Festival and her solo concert at 12 Monkeys last year. The upcoming gig will be held at 19East.
The short film is a documentary of her 2016 South American Tour that covered 33 dates in eight weeks; Rose asked her fans to plan and book that particular tour.
The winsome Rose also directed the music video for the new album’s first single “Is this Called Home?”
Something’s Coming is set for release on July 7 under Communion Records and features 11 tracks with guest turns from Bear’s Den’s Marcus Hamblett, Daughter’s Elena Tonra, and Matthew and The Atlas’ Emma Gatrill.
Philpop 2016 finalists Ben&Ben will be the warm-up act.
