Chicosci fans have been “Buzzin'” about the rock act’s upcoming album, but since revealing behind the scenes photos from their last video shoot, updates beyond show dates have been rather scarce.

Yesterday afternoon (Jun. 13), Chicosci frontman Miggy Chavez took to Twitter to express his frustration on how slow the album’s progress has been: “Back to writing. Kinginang album to, ambagal hahahaha!”

The “Raspberry: Girl” act has been in the studio since May 2014, originally set for an EP release, when they ultimately decided to produce ten songs for a full-length instead. Guitarist Mong Alcaraz describes their sound as always having a “healthy mix of riffage, melodies, and a lot of Easter eggs.”

Chicosci recently performed “Paris” with former drummer Joel Salvador and bassist Calde Calderon at 70’s Bistro last June 5th. Check out the video below:
