“Humihingi po kami ng tawad sa lahat po na nagaabang sa YouTube ng ‘Malaya’ music video,” actor John Prats, who directed the video says with Dela Torre, Panganiban, and Milby laughing in the background. “Nagkakaproblema lang po ang laptop, pero don’t worry. Rest assured, ma-uupload po siya by tonight.”

In the 6-minute visual, the story follows what could possibly be the end of a relationship between the characters portrayed by Panganiban and Milby. “Ayaw ko na, gusto ko nang sumaya,” Panganiban cries next to Milby in the video’s opening. “Hayaan mo na ko, please.” When she walks out, Milby remains silent and stares at a necklace Panganiban left behind. Flashbacks of their past together appear throughout the video, which was shot in Balete, Batangas, as Dela Torre sings against the gorgeous backdrop of Taal Lake.
“Malaya” appears as the carrier single off the Camp Sawi soundtrack.
