Music promotes connections that lead to harmonious relationships among people. In light of the recent unfortunate events that people in Marawi, Mindanao have been experiencing, Musika Publiko together with Jovenes Foundation Inc. organized the Songs for Peace Project (S4PP). The said project aims to be a musical initiative that promotes peace throughout Mindanao and the whole Philippines as well.

S4PP is set to have several components for release: a physical album release with the independently-recorded material of the music volunteers, a multimedia release of other related materials —such as music videos, live performances (including the album launch), and a major concert— and other contributions by networks of artists and musicians in helping promote the Marawi cause.

Musika Publiko is a collective of musicians, composers, music producers, and performers who are willing to share their talents and skills to provide awareness for peace. Despite the lack of technical resources and equipment, the group continued to record quality material embodied in the 14-track album they recently recorded. The group continues to hold bar tours to engage with people and continue passing on the message of peace they uphold. Currently, these tours are spread out through the months of August and September 2017.

Their touring also aims to gain public attention and awareness for their first major concert entitled Finding Peace which will be held on October 7 at the Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City.
