Things are about to get “Lit” in Manila as Texas-based instrumental outfit Polyphia head to the Philippines for their first guitar clinic in the country.

Presented by Audiophile Components and Ibanez Philippines, the clinic features guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, as part of their 9-stop 2017 Asia Clinic Tour. Shortly after their Taipei workshop, the guitarists are set to make an appearance at Cowboy Grill in Quezon City on May 24th, Wednesday, before carrying on to Bangkok.

Formed in 2010, Polyphia made their break with a viral guitar playthrough of “Impassion,” off their 2013 debut EP Inspire. They quickly made waves online and successfully funded their first full-length album Muse via IndieGoGo, surpassing their goal by 206% just before going on their first U.S. tour supporting British progressive metal act Monuments. And like Spinal Tap, they survived a series of changes in the drum kit department, as they released their sophomore album Renaissance last year. Now at the average age of 23, Polyphia are going strong with their melodic harmonies, gearing up to tour the rest of the world.
