On Saturday (Sept. 30) at Giniling Festival’s video launch for “SKB,” Terno Recordings act Maude took on Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” during their set.

The quick cover follows comments that have surrounded frontman Luis Azcona about looking like Arnel Pineda. In his documentary Hi Guys from UDD‘s recent Canada tour, where Azcona filled in as bass and lights technician, he shares a story about a woman who asked for a selfie, thinking he was the Journey singer.

Tumugtog kami ng Journey kagabi. Parang napagkakamalan ko na rin ang sarili ko¬†(We played Journey last night. So that I can also mistake myself for Arnel Pineda),” Azcona quips.

Maude are currently wrapping things up for the upcoming release of their sophomore album.
